At CES 2018, Huawei may be mostly focusing on its Mate 10 Pro flagship and its frustration with U.S. carriers, but it also announced a new non-smartphone product: the Wi-Fi Q2 mesh Wi-Fi system.
As with other systems, the Wi-Fi Q2 looks to push out a strong and steady signal throughout your house or apartment. The Q2 does this in a few different ways. One option includes a base and two satellites using G.hn PLC technology to deliver gigabit data over electrical, telephone, and coaxial wiring. Another option features a hybrid three-pack which uses wired and wireless connections for your Wi-Fi-dispersing needs.
