DevCareer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young Africans pursuing tech careers, has announced a collaboration with the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub. The UK-Nigeria Tech Hub, an initiative by the UK government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sports (DCMS), aims to bolster the growth of the technology ecosystem in Nigeria. This partnership aims to provide digital skills training to 1700 Nigerians, equipping them for successful careers in the tech industry.
The comprehensive 6-month training program will focus on developing in-demand skills in software development, design, and product management. By addressing the digital skills gap in the country, the program aims to bridge the divide and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring inclusivity and equal access to opportunities.
